what a sad sight that was last night, Steve Young being given oxygen by St John's people. up till that moment he had been having a great tour ! i wish him well for Sunday and hope he comes back stronger as a result of this setback, i find him one of our sports real people who gives his all, i for one will count you as you were up till that point and applaud your efforts in the 1st 3 races, so well done Steve and see you Sunday. Graham V.

Ha, ha
I was in the Salwick Club for sarnis & a pint of Cumberland (though the beer was a bit dodgy)
Were u with the Line Dancers?
I didn't see you with the Preston lads & lasses. (I was talking to Steve Hallas & Sweeno)
Didn't mind marshalling, but felt a bit out of it the finish amid all you sweaty bodies. It was a good race to watch. (Hoping to be back racing in a couple of weeks)
Do you want me to post you a cheque!!??

Mr Young (dingle) is having a dabble this time aswell. a straight £10 to the highest finisher from both lower finishers.. OK. I've set it up. fantasy.premierleague.comLeague name: Every Cloud Entry code: 802869-150055 A good start to the season if you live east of the M55 and west of the M65. At least your season is just starting. The USL Div 1 is about three-quarters way through. The Portland Timbers, after winning their first 3 home games haven't won at home since. That was in April when I wached the game with ex-Harrier and BG Rounder Peter Orr. It's an eleven team league, (below MLS but no promotion-relegation) and 7 teams make the play-offs. Things are looking 50/50 for the 7th slot at the moment. We play the league leaders Charleston tonight. Over here beer is allowed in the stadium. They even have cheap beer promotion nights (Thirsty Thursday). In their last game against hated rivals the Seattle Sounders, who move to MLs next year, they lost 0-1 in front of a crowd of 12,332 and had a player sent off. It had a sign saying "Free coffin. No body inside" Not sure whether it was used or not.
