Well done to everyone who has participated in the first three interclub races.
This is just a request that we get as many athlete's out as possible for the last three races. As a team in the open category we have one 1st place and two 2nd places. Realisticly to win the open team we need to win the next three races which is very possible if we get the everyone out.
The last three races are:-
17 July 06 Monday Wesham (7.30pm)
16 August 06 Wednesday Chorley (7.30pm)
5 September 06 Tuesday Red Rose (7:00pm)
...so please everyone mark these down in your diary's. According to the results we haven't won the open team since 2002 despite the quality and depth of runners we have at the club. I for one and I'm sure I'm not alone really enjoy this summer series of races and think its a great opportunity to get together as a team and race or even just do it as a training run.
Hope to see everyone there. Lets end Wesham's/ North Flyde's series of victories and claim the bragging rights back for ourselves!
