As a very active member of Wesham Ex team Captain , ex press officer and someone who races almost every week. I would like to say that it great to have local clubs competing in such a very well supported friendly manner. We at Wesham make no bones about it we want to win the Inter club but we are releastic of our chances. We know you have more big guns, I have watched Steve Hallas over the years going about his business. A nice guy, a great ambassidor for the Harriers and someone who supports his club 100%. We have Adam keen to win and now joined by Chris. It is great to see Chris back after so long out I believe Chris was given the same great advice I was by Anne Sweeney visit Denise Parks at Clitheroe. No matter what the outcome of the Inter Clubs I know I speak for everyone at my club when I say. It is a pleasure to run in races with runners of the calibre of Helen, Adam, Steve and Chris. I know the other clubs have great runners Jonno at Blackpool, Malc at North Fylde and our own Steve, Charlie and Alex. I may be finishing even further behind them but it is nice to compete in the same race, Good Luck Preston Dont forget if you need a lift to the next Inter Club I will be leaving the Fairfield Arms@ 19.25 ( pub at Kirkham junction M55)

Cheers.. Geo - you`ve got some pretty good runners, but perhaps more importantly you are a friendly club and it`s always nice to see WRR at local and afar races too. As regards the Interclub, many of the Wed starter / running fitness group ran the event last year and it would be great to see as many as possible having a go at this years event - 16th August and the final one at Leyland on the 5th Sept. Don`t just take my word about how enjoyable it is.. ask at the track on Wednesdays and talk to those who ran last year!
