Fantastic performance and attendance by the women last night - great to have so many there! I think that by Wesham beating NF they have ensured our winning the overall series (tho' i just might be wrong - I know- hard to believe) But I've just gone on total points & this might not be how it works) We won last night too and never a doubt this time!
But whatever the outcome, it is great to see so many Harriers out. it is a really good atmosphere and social event and that is only achieved by the people and numbers there who make it so. It has also provided a great opportunity for many of our new women to make their first appearances in races for us. I would have said low key races but they are hardly that and now that you have toughed these out it would be good to see you in some local road races which are a good opportunity of getting away from jobs at home on a Sunday morning!
Well done the men - the usual story with men, all you needed was a kick up the backside to get you there and the result is a foregone conclusion.
I look forward to next year and the impact of the new club

Foregone conclusion Anne? Well done Preston and to echo Anne on one thing it would be good to see you more involved in local races. Never could understand runners who do not race!
