Just trawling through the results and I see that Steve Mort completed in 3.38.57 - excellent performance Steve. Now you have laid your marathon marker down. I think some other colleagues from PH were running as well. Can anyone identify them ?

Kerry Stevens (from the ladies group - wednesdays) completed her first marathon yesterday in New York, finishing in 5:11:59.
Kerry has put so much effort into her training for the race and she has raised over £2000 for charity - we are all really proud of her! x
Congratulations to Steve Mort too!

Well done Steve! I hope that you are pleased even though it wasnt the time that you hoped for. I'm sure there's a lot more to come and you have the experience now to make progress.
A fantastic amount of money to raise, Kerry - hope you enjoyed it

Thanks everyone!
It was a tough course, would have liked to get under 3:30, but I still got a PB (11 minutes off my London time earlier this year!)
I've also raised just over £1400 for Samaritans
Well done Kerry!

Indeed very well done. Steve Mort has just submitted an article to the Harrier (out for Christmas) on his trip to The Big Apple. Worth reading. Worth waiting for! This is one of the many advantages of editorship.......... getting to read the magazine before it is one! I could tell you something about next season re road runners. About the likes of which us fell runners have been doing for a while. But it's best if you wait until I put it to print. (No it's not anything at all to do with drinking real ale).
