I do not know about anybody else but I'm really looking forward to the inter-club This Monday! ;D The 5 & 10 K times posted over the weekend ,at the Preston Running festival, should give everybody a positive boost. To back this up of course will require a capacity turn out from us all. If you have been away for a while use it as a kick start! If you are not racing over the weekend, then relax and conserve your energy. The amalgamation of the seasiders has seen a great boost to their results but we must not allow their momentum to overwhelm us. We have a great depth of talent across the age groups/genders and with the improvements seen recently I am very sure that we can challenge and supersede our competitors at the top of each table. I look forward to seeing as many as can make it on the day. Keep Running Neil Mc D.

Fantastic effort last night at Wesham InterClub from all Harriers who ran. Provisional result is that we won the Open so a GREAT turnout is needed for the final two events at Chorley (Astley Park) Wed 8th August @ 7.30 pm & Red Rose - Leyland (Worden Park) @ 7pm. It is only by all turning out and then having a great depth of field as a result, that we have a good opportunity of winning the series. Thank you to the large numbers from our Wednesday Group who turned out, you were all wonderful and had good runs. Well done to all at Wesham RR for not only delivering good weather (at last!) but ensuring a well organised event. Thank you

WOW what a turn out to WRR Interclub. As in the previous comment made by Steve we need a repeat performance for the last 2 events for us to secure the open result. Again well done to all!! Specially the Wednesday Night Girls who turned out in their numbers. True testiment to the efforts put in by Alan & the coaching team. No butties on the night but the fruit was an excellent idea. Well done WRR on a well organised event. Run safe Neil Mc D.
