Posted on behalf of Alan Appleby: Dear All, I am running the London Marathon on the 13th April this year. As I've turned 60, thought this would be my last one and wanted to try and raise as much as possible for Galloways Society for the Blind. Any donations would be very gratefully appreciated, please visit my online donations website at www.bmycharity.com/alanapplebyMany thanks Alan Appleby C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Owner\My Documents\DSCF0027.jpg[/img]

;D A massive well done to all. It looked a bit wet out there but at least you were cooler than last year! Do not forget that we can all book a ballot place on line this year, but can anybody tell me how the good for age system will be done?
Again WELL DONE
Regards Neil Mc D.

Absolutely fantastic run, Alan - 3.02. This was amazing when you consider that he only did 2 runs of 20 miles and had month of over Xmas with illness. Because I wasnt able drag him out in Jan, Feb he didnt run as much as he would have done. A 2 hour weights session a week and 6x300 , 5 hills or 8x200 isnt really marathon training is it ?(Sharon's training) He was 4th 060 just missing out on a medal - next year?
