Sportshall

The Sportshall campaign medals are now to hand and I am currently trying to arrange a presentation ceremony at the track.
As soon as this is arranged I will be in touch with everyone.

In case anybody had any doubts about the value of this comp I would like to point out that athletes making their Harriers athletics debut at sportshall this winter went on to win 4 gold medals, 3 silver and 3 bronzes at the County champs. They along with others who started in sportshall are now competing, and scoring good points, in the Young Athletes League.

The presentation for the campaign medals will be made at the track 7.30 pm Thursday 20th August by GB International Steve Smith.

Steve has just won silver in the 1500m and bronze in the 800m world vet championships at v50 in Finland.

Hopefully Steve will bring his medals with him and there may be opportunity for a photo or two.

The following athletes all qualified for the medal by competing in all three sportshall fixtures.
