Is Mike Mc. our Chairman having a go at the BG this year and how did our champs do in the Fellsman? I went on the Fellsman site last week but it didn't have the results for this year.

latest is that Mick Mack sustained an injured calf during a 100mile event last weekend. He may have pulled out of the BG.

The story is that he'd got a swollen muscle at the sid eof his calf from doing the 100mile race & decided he'd better pull out of the BG. Hpwever after a few pints on Saturday his support team persueded him to do it. (Obviously they didn't want to miss the weekend away). They might even have to carry Mick round the Round. That could be a sort of record. The plan this Friday evening if anybody wants to join in is to get the 10.00pm bus from Threlkeld to Keswick, and do the first leg of the BG, then drive back home. If anybody wants to join the fun, contact Mick or Pete Doherty. If you can't contact them, post a message here & someone will tell them for you.
