Michael there is always room for improvement especially while you're still young. You're time is not too impressive, when i was 17 i was think i ran 10.8. But that doesn't matter at all. A lot of people tend to find that any sort of training generally brings you on leaps and bounds. Anyone can join Preston Harriers as a club and there are compeition(s) available to all ages and ranges.

lol right, need to make something clear here. Anyone can make the club its a voluntary sports club, therefore anyone can sign up. The team is different. There are different leagues for different ages providing different levels of competition. I doubt any newcomer is good enough to make the team. Obviously it depends on how old you are and how fast you are? But in the sprints anything over the under 17 or under 20 age group places are hard to come by.
I have no idea about the advantages fo being mixed race.....there's a jamaican in our group tho, he does the business.

hi..is it possible to make big events that you see people on tv doing at your club?
I don't much about the whole sprint thing as I dont do it but like watching it. Do you have to be at certain clubs for recognition into the big time? I saw that you have somebody called helen in 'oz' just gone.

Firstly Dillon I would like to make clear I am know book of sprinting knowledge. In answer to you're original question about being mixed race it is imposible to say whether in you're particular case or not it may or may not have it's advantages. Secondly how old are you? If you're older than nineteen you are looking at around 10.5/6 to definetly have a place in the 100 and about 21.5 maybe in the 200. sorry? i dont get what you mean? why would being 'jamaican' as you say be any benifit? my father is black..but british so does that put any downer on for me? what sort of times should you be looking at if you was sprinting for the harriers team this summer? gives me an idea what to expect if i joined you see. many thanks
