Best of luck!

What a gutsy run from H! leading all the way. The commentary only talking about Tullet! True BBC style. But did you see Helen's smile on the line? Lisa wins, Helen smiles! Says it all..... what a great sport is, may I say, our Helen? On an even brighter side, Steve Smith won Gold in 1500m V45 World Games yesterday in Linz. 4m 10s ish. Well done Helen & well done Steve. Endorsing Big Bren's "The famous Preston Harriers", thanks for your entertainment. It makes us all proud.

Vey good runs from both Helen & Steve.....I used to run occasionally with Steve appx 10 years or go or more & he always gave me the impression that he couldnt really care less but I must have been very wrong when I see him investing time & effort to capture a 'global' title. Very impressive. They...whovever they are....say 4th is always the worst place to finsish but as said earlier Big Bren only rated Hayley Tullet. I wouldnt worry too much about Fosters opinions. The mans a halfwit. Years ago I was racing against a miler from Hereford called Andy Keith in a cross country race. Foster spent the entire race referring to him as 'Keith Andrews' and only in the last minute of the race did he call he call him Andy Keith, presumably after someone had pointed out the error of his ways, but didnt point out to the viewers his mistake. Armchair fans must have wondered what had happened to the Keith Andrews they had been watching! Epic......Anyway well done again to both Steve & Helen from those 'famous' Prestwhich Harriers!

The race is reported on without mentioning Helen! Considering the work put in by her I think it should be re-written! www.melbourne2006.com.au

It was part of a superb evening for England's athletes on the track with Lisa Dobriskey a surprise winner of the women's 1500m, while Christine Ohuruogu smashed her personal best to win the 400m. Watched by Olympic double gold medallist Kelly Holmes, the 22-year-old Dobriskey produced a superb sprint finish over the final 100m to beat Australia's Sarah Jamieson into second. Wales's Hayley Tullett took the bronze with England's Helen Clitheroe, who had led from halfway, unfortunate to miss out on a medal in fourth.
Well done Helen!

Well done Helen. If any Junior would like to to write something for the next Harrier, there is a £5.00 prize for the best effort! Could even be about watching Helen in Melbourne on TV. An article, a poem, a report on the race. Whatever! Nichola Jackson won the last fiver for her article on the race in Colwyn Bay..... Why not have a go?
