With many of the older juniors away in Portugal, it was good to see a decent turn out in the first league meeting at Wigan.
Well done to all the athletes, particularly those making their first appearance for the club. We had a good number of bottom age under 13's who performed very well.

Peter - I agree with you it was a very useful meeting for introducing some new athletes to competition. It was also particularly pleasing to see us win all four of the U13 & U15 girls and boys 4 x 100m relays. The points totals haven't been published yet - but keep your eye on them I have a sneaky feeling we may be top of both tables. I reckon we are around 20 points ahead of Blackpool in both the male and female league tables.

Hey guys just joined last night. Will be competing on the 16th in the junior athletes thing but just wondered what age groups are involved in the mid lancs?
Is there u20s? and if there are what are the standards for triple jump, long jump and a spot in the 4x100?
cheers
