Latest News:
Angela Welfare has decided to step down as President, after 13 years in office. Until a few years ago she also held the post of Membership Secretary for as long as I can remember (1982/3?). Angela. Thanks for all your hard work on behalf of the club
Helen Clitheroe has accepted the nomination for the position of President. Personally I think this is a great choice. Helen has been (and still is) a great ambassador for the club and also a great role model and inspiration to all members, young and old.

Well said Rick & indeed well done & many thanks to Angela. There will be a substantial article about Angela & her good works in the next Harrier. There is some regret that Angela is stepping down, she has however been ill for some time, & I wish her all the best for a significant recovery. Meanwhile of course, in this our special year it is especially good that Helen has indicated that she will be happy to take on the roll of President of the Club. She has been a member for more than twenty years! Good luck to her & the club if she is voted in at the AGM. The AGM is on 28th April ay 7.00pm, St Michaels Church Hall. (That's on the Ashton A bus route). May the Harriers go from strength to strength.
