the north west road relays take place on Saturday 17th September teams of 6 runners can be entered last year we had an A a B team please could anyone interested please contact me asap all runners are welcome to enter whatever ability as we can enter as many teams as runners wanting to compete, you could enter a team from your training group. email or tel 492593

 Hi Gary Just seen your message on the new board re 6 stage, it may be a good idea to e mail Chris to put it on the Notice board on the home pagge of the Harrier as not everyone has subscribed to the new message board. It may also be good to put it on the old message board for the Dinosaurs. Don't forget to book the mini bus I will drive if you want me to. Thanks for everything you do. Best wishes Pete

Come on, lets please have a go and I`m talking on behalf of us all. I`m not going to make any A team and have passed my details to Gary this week for, hopefully, a B team. It promises to be a good day, hopefully in sunshine and not far from home. If WRR can put a number of team up for such events, so should we. You have nothing to lose, except missing out on a good day of running

The North West Counties road relays incorporate the Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside championships. As far as I am aware the men's race is over four legs, last year's Lancs champions being Preston H - Messrs Hallas, Livingstone, Parker (J) and Dewhurst. Results at www.noeaa-athletics.org.uk/results/2004/road/nw_relays_2004.pdf. WRR did indeed enter two teams in 2004 (as did PH). One local club entered five. The Northern six-stage relays are on Saturday 1st October at a venue TBC (possibly Warrington or Blackpool). |
