The Party's Over for another year. I was stripped of my laptop duties at the hub of the Showground & banished to the summit of Parlick. (Almost as far away from the epicentre as possible). Out of sight out of mind was the opinion of the organisers I presume). Out of my mind is probably true, However at the summit I was in a prime position to see the race. Alan Metcalf went through as first Harrier. Soon followed by Phillipa & Sarah, both running with smiles on their faces. Tough cookies them two! After the show was over, Joe Howard & myself partook of 2 pints of "Pride of Pendle" outside the Tillotsons. That reminds me I paid for both rounds! Must be out of my mind!
