According to ukresults.net, Freckleton is now full. Hopefully, we can look forward to a damp, cheerless day but I have a feeling that it won`t be....

Well done to all who ran, special congratulations to Anne Sweeney (Ladies Winner) and Alan Appleby (Vet 60 winner, yes Vet 60 winner.) We were all very pleased at the cool, overcast conditions in the morning as we arrived but then Mister Sun came out and it was warm out on the course. Excellently organised (well done Brian) lots of water stations with enthusiastic volunteers, showers to run through and lots of support from people out on the course - though the pubs looked inviting to stop at! Good Harriers contingent, who I think had a good day.. comments anyone?

This was my first half marathon and i was just pleased that i got round. But when i told my dad what time i had got (1.51 mins), he said that he had done one in 1.32. So now the hammer has been thrown down i am desprate to try and beat his time.
