My apologies for the recent break down of fellblog. Honestly it was nothing to do with anything I did or didn't do.....
Nobody seems to know just what went wrong, but without doubt it could have been up and running again, much quicker if we'd had one iota of help from the person or company who previously hosted the website. Shall I begin a hate campaign against them, and begin naming names? No, it's the festive season of good will to all men (and women and asses and all other crib figure members).
So unable to even know what was wrong, to whom did I turn? None other than Bill Buckley, star of seemingly unlimited ability, as we all know.
Bill has managed to restore the website & I think he now hosts it. This is great news, for it secures us from similar lack of co-operation in the future.
There is a minor problem still remaining, simply that presently I am unable to get into the site to do any updates. Bill is sure that this won't be a problem, but he hasn't realized until now that he is dealing with a webmaster who has the computer ability of a 3 year old. Sorry I flatter myself, make that 18 months.
But in the slightly altered words of a seasonal carol "Soon and very soon, we're going to see the thing"
Hope you've all had a great Christmas and have a Prosperous New Year. I will be busy researching with Joe Howard at the New Year. Somebody has to keep up the good work.
