I got mine in yesterday, although it was still light. We did and 8.5 mile run in the Forest.
On one 1-mile stretch we found 7 fallen trees that were still standing 2 weeks ago.
Photos of the Harriers' Solstice run would be appreciated. If Bob hosts them I can link them to this thread

21 of us ran up to Fairsnape via Parlick. The youngest being Andrew Harrison & the oldest (though you wouldn't know from the way he runs), was George Arnold. Simmy & I struggled lighting the rocket. Back in Chipping, being some time ago shunned by the Sun, found double 21 & more in the Tillotsons. The best beer being Timothy Taylors Landlord. & the best beer to drink a small amount of if you are White Vanning, Timothy Taylors Golden Best (3.5 but delishhhh). This white van man left before Simmy got the Carols going. However Rick here's one for you now. "We wish you a Merry Christmas,We wish you a Merry Christmas,We wish you a Merry Christmas, & a Happy New Year." I will do some sort of report & I do have a picture or two from the Summit which I will happen do tomorrow. (Christmas Eve). I must get back home now, I'm struggling with my dog. I think being Christmas that it is developing a dog in the manger attitude.

Apologies for not continuing as promised. Just came across it now. I did write a bit more & it's to be seen on fellblog @ www.prestonharriers.com/solstice_night_2007.htmFor Steve Mort, I could add or subtract for Harrier if there is any need or demand! Tonight is another of Jim Doherty's Night Navigation do's at Tockholes. Meaning as little running as possible & as much curry as you can eat for £6.00. The last sick squid joke flipped a little, then flopped.
