Sportshall is back this Sunday ;D Entry forms and details are available on the link below www.prestonharriers.net/j/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=44Do we have any willing volunteers for officiating duties ? Best view of the events guaranteed We also require photographs of the event for the website/LEP/Harrier. Training for Sportshall will be taking place this week at Ashton on Wednesday for u11 - u15s and on Thursday at Fulwood for U11s I am expecting a tough competition this year as both Blackpool & Hyndburn have been busy preparing for this event and Horwich have been getting stronger every year. See you all on Sunday

Fantastic performances from our younger athletes yesterday recording yet another sportshall victory at Blackpool.
Has anybody got a team photo please ? The results have been published early and the Harrier deadline is about to close.
Photos to rob_morley@talktalk.net please.
A big THANK YOU to all the parents who helped out officiating, with a very special thanks to Dave Tate, Andy Parker & Keith Rigby who put full shifts in officiating.

My daughter Charlotte did the sportshall on Sunday and wanted to look at the results. We went on the Blackpool sportshall page today to look at the results. The actual score sheets are not yet on but the age group results are. On looking at the U11 girls results i'm a bit confused as we thought she won the triple jump but harriers didn't get the most points and she came second in vertical jump and there are no points showing for harriers. Am I missing something? Can someone please check I'm looking at it correctly.
Thanks

Hi!
Looking at the points table on the BWFAC website, I think the U11G's points for the triple jump for Preston have been recorded in the long jump column and points for the vertical jump have been recorded in the triple jump column. Hope that makes it clear for you.

Well done to Keighley Cairns on her first sports-hall, she won both the 1 & 3 lap finishing just a second outside both records and did well in the speed bounce & hi-stepper to amass 21 pts for her team and winning the athelete of the match. And as an added bonus has been selected in the lancs team, well done from a very proud mum & dad Xx

Loretta we were given 9 points for u 11 triple jump which would equate to a second and third place in the event.
I have just sent the results to Ryan if you want to check them out.
I have sent them to the webmaster together with a report and pictures so hopefully there will be a link to them soon.
If anybody wants the results mailing please email me.
