Congratulations to Clare Kane who came 5th in the biathle world championships held in Monaco last weekend.
To any one who dosnt know this is a 1500m run followed by an open water swim and then another 1500m run.
Well done Clare.

 Andy Thanks for the information regarding Clare. Clare would never have volunteered this information because she is one of the quiet unsung heroes of Preston Harriers and Athletics in general. Clare has been with us for many years and has quietly, almost unnoticeable persisted to this very high level. In my opinion Clare is the epitome of Athletics and wonderful, intelligent and dedicated young people. If any youngster in the club desires a role model they need look no further than Clare. A great athlete and a great person. Good luck, well done and best wishes Pete Benson  ;D
